Mercury adds the Stellar Slimline Bifold Door to its range

Specialist PVC-U and aluminium fabricator Mercury has signed a three-year supply agreement with Epwin Window Systems to manufacture the Stellar Slimline Aluminium Bifold Door.

Mercury, a longstanding fabricator of Epwin Window Systems’ Vertical Sliding Sash Window System, has enjoyed a 20-year tenure with the systems house, and this extended partnership further demonstrates the strength of the relationship.

The Stellar Slimline Bifold Door has gained immense popularity for its exceptional design, outstanding performance and slimline aesthetics. Features include the slim meeting stile which, at just 117mm wide, creates an attractive slim sightline in the closed position.

Installation is straightforward due its pre-gasketed knock-in beads. And the unique patent-pending adjustable locking stile allows ease of adjustment on site, eliminating the need for adjustable door jambs.

The Stellar Slimline Bifold Door delivers excellent thermal efficiency, and its innovative polyamide thermal break technology delivers low thermal conductivity and ensures this high-quality door is highly insulating. It also exceeds the requirements of the 2022 Part L Building Regulations achieving a U-value of 1.3W/m²K with standard 28mm double glazing and 0.9W/m²K with 44mm triple glazing.
